Ulysses ("Lee") Trent

After a long battle with cancer, Ulysses ("Lee") V. Trent, Jr died on July 20, 2017 in Tampa, FL at the age of 86.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Lee served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Upon being honorably discharged, Lee embarked on a career as a recreational director for the NYC Dept. of Parks.

It was shortly after being discharged from the Air Force that Lee met the love of his life, Caroline Ruffolo of Brooklyn Heights. They married in 1953 and...

After a long battle with cancer, Ulysses ("Lee") V. Trent, Jr died on July 20, 2017 in Tampa, FL at the age of 86.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Lee served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Upon being honorably discharged, Lee embarked on a career as a recreational director for the NYC Dept. of Parks.

It was shortly after being discharged from the Air Force that Lee met the love of his life, Caroline Ruffolo of Brooklyn Heights. They married in 1953 and had four wonderful children.

Lee and Caroline parted ways in 1968 but remained friends throughout their lifetime. Caroline passed away in 2005.

Lee moved to Florida in 1985 and finally settled in New Port Richey where he met his new life companion, Kay Wilkens. Lee and Kay enjoyed many good years together and were known for their dancing and frequent socializing at clubs in the West Pasco county area. Kay passed away in 2013.

"Popi" as he was affectionately called, is survived by his children, Lee Trent, Lane Trent, Lynn Trent and Lance Trent, his grandchildren, Laurelle Teed, Lucas Trent, Hayden Trent and Colby Trent, his great-grandchildren, Angelica Piloto and Jayden Teed, his great-great grandson, Leo Piloto, his daughers-in-law, Ellen Crimi-Trent and Linda Trent, grand-son-in-law, Jack Teed and great-grand-son-in-law, Jesse Piloto.
